'Killers', Iron Maiden's second album, came out 40 years ago

Killers, Iron Maiden’s second album, was released in the UK on Feb. 2, 1981 (June 6, 1981 in the U.S). It was the band’s first album with guitarist Adrian Smith, and its last with Paul Di’Anno as lead singer.
